Absolutely! But it's a bit of a 'yes and no' situation. You can have the same Nintendo account on multiple Switch consoles and download the games you own, including Animal Crossing. However, you can't play the game simultaneously on both devices with a single digital copy due to Nintendo's restrictions. Each Switch can have its own island, though, which is pretty cool for visiting each other's islands!

Sharing? Yes, but with limits. Each Nintendo Switch needs its own copy for simultaneous play. Learned that the hard way when my sister and I tried to game the system. We ended up buying another copy, but having separate islands turned out to be a blast.

Nope, if you wanna play together at the same time, you're gonna need two copies of the game. One game per Switch = one island per Switch. Makes island management a whole lot simpler, if you ask me!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
