Actually, if you're on PC, there's a workaround. You can use console commands to skip parts of the intro. Just hit the tilde (~) key to open the console and type 'coc SanctuaryExt' to jump right into the game after the bombs drop. It's not an official skip, but it gets the job done for those who've seen the intro more times than they can count.

Nope, you can't skip the intro in Fallout 4. You've gotta sit through the cinematic and the initial Vault sequence before you get to the meat and potatoes of the game. It's a bit of a bummer if you're starting over for the umpteenth time, but it sets the stage for the story!

No official skip button, sadly. The intro's a one-time experience per playthrough. Guess Bethesda really wants us to feel that post-apocalyptic immersion from the get-go.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
