Absolutely, you can make the switch from Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) to Vortex for modding Fallout 4. It's pretty straightforward. Vortex offers a more modern interface and improved features over NMM, making it a worthy upgrade. You'll want to back up your mods and game saves just to be on the safe side, though. Once you've installed Vortex, it has an option to import your mods from NMM, making the transition smoother than a Deathclaw in a silk robe.

Why switch? NMM works fine for me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Of course you can, and you should! Vortex is basically the new and improved version of NMM. Better mod handling and conflict resolution. Just make sure to follow a guide or tutorial to avoid any mishaps. Made the switch myself and never looked back!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
