Totally possible at the start, choose carefully! I picked the opposite to shake things up and haven't regretted my perpetual summer vibes. Makes for great IG pics!

Unfortunately, no take-backsies once you pick your hemisphere in ACNH. Choose wisely or it's restart city, population: you.

Yep, you can choose your hemisphere when you first start your Animal Crossing: New Horizons game. This choice affects your season cycle, so if you live in the Northern Hemisphere but wanna experience snow in July, just set your game to the Southern Hemisphere! But remember, once you choose, you're stuck with it unless you're up for starting your island life all over again.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
