Short answer: Yes, you can tap a blocking creature, but it won't do much if you're trying to stop it from blocking. Once it's declared as a blocker, it's already doing its job. Tapping it then is kinda like closing the barn door after the horses are out.

Absolutely! You can totally tap a blocking creature in Magic The Gathering, but timing is key. You gotta do it before the declare blockers step because once a creature is declared as a blocker, tapping it won't remove it from blocking. So, if you're looking to prevent a creature from blocking, tap it during the beginning of combat phase or before. Just remember, once they're declared as blockers, tapping doesn't 'unblock' them.

Nah, tapping a blocker after it's been declared doesn't really change much. It's still blocking. You wanna get strategic? Tap it before it can be declared as a blocker. Timing, my friend, timing is everything in MTG.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
