Absolutely! In Magic The Gathering, you can tap your lands even if you don't have a spell to cast or an ability to activate. Some players do it to bluff having a response, making their opponent second-guess their moves. Just remember, once tapped, you can't use that mana unless you're actually casting something or activating an ability that requires it.

Yeah, you can, but why would you? I did it once to mess with my buddy. Pretended I had a counter spell. He hesitated to play his big creature. Mind games can be part of your strategy, just make sure you don鈥檛 accidentally bluff yourself into a corner.

Nope, bad idea. The whole point of tapping lands is to generate mana for casting spells or activating abilities. Tapping without a plan just leaves you vulnerable.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
