Nope, generally speaking, you can't. Equipment itself doesn't tap unless its text specifically grants it the ability to do so. Most of the time, equipment just hangs out attached to your creature, giving it boosts or abilities without tapping.

Absolutely, but it depends on the card! Some equipment cards have abilities that specifically say you can tap them for an effect. However, you can't just tap any equipment because you feel like it. It has to say so on the card. So always read your equipment cards carefully to see what cool things they can do!

Only if the card says so! I've seen a few folks new to MTG get confused, thinking they can tap equipment like lands for mana. That's not the case unless there's an ability on the card that allows it. Check the text!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
