Tap strafing on a controller? Ah yes, the age-old question. Technically, you can, but it's not straightforward like on a keyboard. It involves remapping your controls and a lot of practice. You'll need to assign jump to a button that allows you to spam it while also using the movement stick effectively. It's tricky, but not impossible!

Nope, tap strafing is a PC move, end of story. Controllers don't have the quick input capability to pull it off effectively. Stick to the moves that controllers do best!

Been there, done that! I play Apex on PS4 and managed to tap strafe using a custom controller setup. It took a lot of trial and error, but it's doable. Make sure you have a button that's easy to spam for jumping, and practice moving the stick quickly. Not as smooth as on PC, but it gives you an edge.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
