Can you target Hexproof in MTG?
CarryingMonte路7 months agoShort answer, no. Hexproof stops opponents dead in their tracks from targeting that creature with their sneaky spells. It's like having an invisible force field only you can mess with.

Actually, there are ways around hexproof if you鈥檙e clever. Sure, you can鈥檛 directly target hexproof creatures, but you can still use board wipes or things that say 'all creatures' or 'each opponent.' So, it鈥檚 not all doom and gloom if you鈥檙e facing down a hexproof monster.
As someone who's tried and failed, let me tell you - targeting a creature with hexproof is a no-go. It's like trying to hit a ghost with a tennis ball. Doesn't work, and you'll just end up wasting your spell.
Nope, you can't target a creature with hexproof with spells or abilities your opponents control. Hexproof literally means it's off-limits for targeting by anything your opponent throws at it. If you're the owner of the hexproof creature, though, you're free to target it with your own spells and abilities. Gotta love that magical shield!
