Nah, you can't trade in games on Steam like you do with physical copies at a store. Once you buy a game on Steam, it's yours forever, no take-backs or swapsies. But hey, at least you can build an epic digital collection!

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no, but Steam does have a refund policy if you played the game for less than 2 hours and it's been less than 14 days since purchase. It's not a trade-in, but it's something.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but nope. Steam doesn't allow you to trade in games for credit or swap them. However, you can gift games to friends if you buy them but don't activate them on your account. So, think of it as trading good vibes instead!

Actually, trading in isn't a thing on Steam. But, they do have a feature for trading game items and gifts with fellow Steam users. Just not the games themselves.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
