You can't directly transfer progress from MLB The Show 21 to 22, but you can carry over your Road to the Show (RTTS) player.

From personal experience, I found that only RTTS players can be carried over. Other progress like Franchise mode needs to start anew.

Unfortunately, you have to start over with a new save for most modes in MLB The Show 22.
