Can you transform a token in Magic The Gathering?
DemonstratingUnit路7 months agoAbsolutely, you can transform a token in MTG, but only if the token itself has the ability to transform. Most tokens don't transform because they aren't double-faced cards. But if you have a token that's a copy of a transformable double-faced card, then yes, it can transform!

Nope, tokens usually can't transform. They're typically simple creatures or effects without the complex mechanics of double-faced cards. So, unless you're dealing with a specific situation where a token copies a transformable card, don't count on your tokens changing form.
In my experience playing MTG, I've only seen a token transform when I used a card effect to make a token that's a copy of a double-faced card. It was wild! But normally, tokens stay as they are. They aren't designed to flip like werewolves or vampires in Innistrad.
