Absolutely, you can transform a token in MTG, but only if the token itself has the ability to transform. Most tokens don't transform because they aren't double-faced cards. But if you have a token that's a copy of a transformable double-faced card, then yes, it can transform!

Nope, tokens usually can't transform. They're typically simple creatures or effects without the complex mechanics of double-faced cards. So, unless you're dealing with a specific situation where a token copies a transformable card, don't count on your tokens changing form.

In my experience playing MTG, I've only seen a token transform when I used a card effect to make a token that's a copy of a double-faced card. It was wild! But normally, tokens stay as they are. They aren't designed to flip like werewolves or vampires in Innistrad.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
