Nah, you can't buddy up with Sturges for those wasteland adventures. He's handy with a wrench and talks a big game about building, but when it comes to being a companion, he's more of a stay-at-home kinda guy. So no, Sturges won't be joining you to explore the Commonwealth.
Honestly, Sturges is more about that settlement life. Got a knack for making things work but doesn't pack his bags for the journey. It's just you, your gun, and the open road.
As much as I wish Sturges could join and help carry my gazillion Nuka-Colas, sadly, he's a no-go for the road trip. Gotta respect a man committed to his building though.
