Can you turn cards in MTG Arena into wildcards?
Yes, you can, but it's not in the way you might initially think. In MTG Arena, you don't directly turn existing cards into wildcards. Instead, the game has a system called the 'duplicate protection' mechanism. When you open a booster pack and receive a card that's already at its maximum playable copies in your collection (4 copies for most cards), the game automatically converts that card into gems or vault progress. Once the vault is full, opening it grants you wildcards among other rewards. So, while you're not converting cards directly into wildcards, the system ensures that extra copies of cards ultimately contribute to acquiring more wildcards.

Gotta chime in here with some experience. I've been grinding in MTG Arena for a good while, and the closest thing to 'turning cards into wildcards' is just opening a ton of packs and hitting that duplicate protection or getting the vault to pop open. It's a slow burn but hey, it's something!
Nah, you can't directly turn cards into wildcards. What you can do is open more packs and let the 'duplicate protection' do its thing or fill up that vault!
