Can you turn off bad things in GTA 5?
Actually, I found that playing less aggressively and avoiding certain missions can kinda reduce the exposure to 'bad things', but no, there's no official way to turn 'em off. The game's about being a criminal, so it's kinda the point.

Nope, GTA 5 doesn't come with a 'family-friendly' mode. It's an adult game through and through. If you're looking for something less edgy, maybe try another game?
