Yep, you can! Go to the settings menu and look for motion controls. You can toggle them off there.

You can definitely turn it off! Just head to Options in the menu and disable motion controls.

From my experience, turning off the gyroscope can give you more precise control if you're better with a traditional setup. Just go to Options > Controls.
