Yep, you can totally unequip artifacts in MTG, but not just by saying 'I unequip this.' Artifacts equipped to a creature can be unequipped by moving them to another creature using their equip cost, or if the card specifically says it can be unequipped. Otherwise, they stay put unless something else (like a spell or ability) forces the artifact to move or the creature leaves play.

Nope, you can't just unequip artifacts willy-nilly. They're like super glue; once they're on, they're on until you have a card that says otherwise or you're shifting it to a new buddy with its equip cost.

Actually, it depends on the card. Some artifacts let you unequip them as part of their ability. So always read the fine print!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
