Can you upgrade the taxi in GTA 5?
Yep, you can totally give that taxi a glow-up in GTA 5, but it's not like your typical ride. You can't take 'em to Los Santos Customs for the usual mod magic. Instead, you gotta unlock the 'Taxi Missions' by purchasing the Downtown Cab Co. After that, your taxi gets a free repair each time you start a mission. It's not the customization razzle-dazzle we love, but hey, free repairs!

Nah, you can't customize taxis in GTA 5 the same way you can with other cars. No fancy spoilers or neon lights for the cabbie life.
Don't bother upgrading a taxi in GTA 5. Just grab any car you like and deck it out to your heart's content. Way more fun than playing cabbie!
Sorta. While you can't directly upgrade taxis with custom parts or colors, buying the cab company lets you sorta 'upgrade' by giving you free repairs for your taxi during missions. It's something, right?
