You can use a PS5 controller on a PS4, but it's not as straightforward as you'd hope. You need a PC or a compatible Android device with Remote Play to get it to work. Kinda a pain, but at least there's a way!

Nope, you can't directly use a PS5 controller on a PS4. Sony didn't make them backward compatible. Bummer, right?

Short answer: No, it doesn't work directly. Best stick with the PS4 controller for that console.

I've done it using Remote Play on my PC, and it works fine. But honestly, I'd still recommend using a PS4 controller for the best experience.
