Nope, you can't just plug a PS3 controller into an Xbox 360 and have it work. They're not compatible out of the box.

You'd need some kind of adapter or converter to make a PS3 controller work on an Xbox 360. Not really worth the hassle if you ask me!

Unfortunately, the PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers aren't compatible with each other. Different systems, different controllers.

From personal experience, tried it once and it was a no-go. Good ol' Xbox kept asking for its own controller!

I tried it once, but no dice. You need an adapter, otherwise they're just not going to play nice together!
