Unfortunately, a PS5 controller can't be directly used on a PS4 Pro. Sony didn't make them backwards compatible.

From my experience, the PS5 controller doesn't work on the PS4 Pro. But hey, that's what the PS4 controllers are for!

Nope, you can't use a PS5 controller on a PS4 Pro. Sony wants you to stick with the PS4 controller for that console.
