You can't directly use an Xbox Series S controller on a PS4. They are not natively compatible.

Nope, they won't play nice together without an adapter. You can try using something like a Brook Super Converter.

I tried it myself; the Xbox Series S controller didn't work on my PS4. You'll need an adapter or stick with DualShock 4.
