Actually, once a creature card with Adventure is on the battlefield, its Adventure is off the table. You gotta use the Adventure before it hits the field, or not at all.

Nope, the Adventure part of a card can only be used if the card is in your hand. Once you've cast the Adventure, or if the creature is already in play, you can't just send it on an Adventure. You've already chosen its path when you played it!
