Can You Use Any External Hard Drive for PS4?
TabulatingMadam·7 months agoHonestly, any USB 3.0 drive between 250GB and 8TB should work. Just remember you’ll have to format it on the PS4 first.

I've been using a 1TB Seagate USB 3.0 with my PS4 for years, works like a charm. Just plug it in and let the PS4 format it.
Yep, you can use any external hard drive for your PS4 as long as it’s a USB 3.0 and has at least 250GB of storage!
Just make sure it’s a USB 3.0 drive and between 250GB and 8TB, and you’re good to go!
