You can't just use any old SSD. The PS5 requires an M.2 SSD with a PCIe 4.0 interface and a minimum read speed of 5500 MB/s.
Sorry, not all SSDs will work. Only certain M.2 NVMe drives with the right specs can be used in the PS5. Better double-check before making a purchase!
Honestly, just make sure it's a PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe SSD with at least 5500 MB/s read speed. Anything else isn鈥檛 likely going to cut it.
