Can you use Chinese MTG cards?
ReroutingTopaz路7 months agoAbsolutely, you can use Chinese MTG cards in your games! Just like cards in English or any other language, they're totally legit as long as they're authentic Magic The Gathering cards. The only thing to keep in mind is when you play in tournaments, your opponent or the judge might ask for a translation if they're not familiar with the card. So, it might be handy to keep a reference or be ready to explain what your card does!

Chinese MTG cards? Sure, they work, but why bother unless you read Chinese? Stick to English to keep things simple for everyone.
Yup, Chinese MTG cards are legal to play. But remember, if you're playing in a serious tournament, make sure you know what the card says. No one wants to play the translation game mid-match.
Using Chinese MTG cards is a cool way to spice up your deck and show off some unique artwork. I've been doing it for years, and most players think it's cool as long as I can explain what the card does. It's never been an issue in casual play.
