Yep! You can use a DualSense controller on a PS3, but only when connected via USB. Some functions might not work perfectly, though.

Yes, you can use the DualSense on PS3 with a USB cable. Bluetooth won't work, so keep that cord handy!

I use my DualSense on my PS3 all the time. Just plug it in with a USB cable, and you're good to go. Simple as that!
