Can you use gold-bordered MTG cards in official games?
ForetellingTable路7 months agoGold-bordered MTG cards aren't legal in official sanctioned tournaments. They're cool for casual play with friends if everyone agrees. Basically, they're like having a fancy, yet not tournament-legal version of a card. Great for fun games and showing off your collection, but leave them at home for the competitive scene.

Nope. They're just for show and casual games. Official play? A big no-no.
Sure, gold-bordered cards are awesome for casual and kitchen table Magic! I use them all the time when playing with my friends. It's all about having fun and mixing things up. Just remember, competitive play won't accept them, but who needs that stress anyway?
