Absolutely! In Magic The Gathering, if your creature has an ability that doesn't require tapping or specifically states it can be used the turn it comes into play (look for abilities with 'haste' or phrases like 'as soon as ~ enters the battlefield'), you can totally use that ability on your first turn. Just make sure you've got the mana to pay for any costs associated with it!

Pro tip from a seasoned player: yes, but only if the ability doesn鈥檛 involve tapping or the creature has haste. Used this trick to clinch many games where my opponent wasn鈥檛 expecting a first-turn ability play!

Depends on the ability. Some abilities can't be used on the first turn because of the 'summoning sickness' rule which prevents creatures from attacking or using tap abilities unless they have haste. So, read your card's text carefully!

No way, gotta wait a turn. Summoning sickness says hi.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
