Absolutely! While dice are a popular choice for keeping track of life totals in MTG, they're not your only option. You're welcome to use any method that is clear and convenient for both players. This includes digital life counters, pen and paper, or even specialized life counter cards. Just make sure whatever you use is easy to read and understand for both you and your opponent. Keeping the game fair and fun is the top priority!

Just keep it simple and stick with dice or an app. Why complicate things?

Paper and pen for the win! I've used them in every tournament I've been to. It's easy, and you never have to worry about your dice rolling away or someone questioning your life total. Plus, it's a great way to keep a match history!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
