Nope, oversized cards are a big no-no in any serious MTG game. They’re pretty much just for show.

Absolutely not for official tournament play. Oversized cards are more of a novelty or collector's item in Magic The Gathering. They're cool to look at and make for great wall art or to show off in your collection, but you can't shuffle them into your deck during Friday Night Magic at the local game store.

In casual play with friends, sure, why not? If everyone agrees it's fine, then have at it. But don't bring those big boys to an official game unless you want to be the center of attention for all the wrong reasons.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
