Yes, you can use a Nintendo Switch charger for your Steam Deck. Both devices use USB-C for charging, and the power requirements are within a similar range. Just remember that charging speeds might vary, and using the charger that came with your Steam Deck is always the best option for optimal charging times.

Honestly, while you technically can, it's not the best idea. The Steam Deck is a bit more power-hungry compared to the Switch, so sticking to the original charger ensures you're getting the right juice.

I've been charging my Steam Deck with my Switch charger on those days when I can't find the original one. Works fine, but feels a tad slower. Still, in a pinch, it's a lifesaver!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
