You sure can, but it's a bit of a MacGyver move. The Steam Deck isn't directly built for VR due to its hardware constraints and lack of VR headset connectivity. However, with some creativity, like streaming from a PC that runs SteamVR to your Deck, or connecting it via a USB-C cable that supports DisplayPort alt mode (and a bit of software tweaking), you might pull it off. Just don't expect it to replace a high-end PC VR setup.

Officially? No, the Steam Deck isn't designed as a VR-ready device, mainly because it doesn't have the hardware chops to directly drive a VR headset. But gamers always find a way, right? With streaming or cloud gaming services, theoretically, you could stream VR games to it, but that's more workaround territory than native support.

No VR on Steam Deck. Keep it simple.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
