Honestly, it's better to watch Dragon Ball first to fully appreciate the growth of characters like Goku and Bulma. But you do you!

Yeah, you can totally jump straight into Dragon Ball Z without watching Dragon Ball! You'll miss some of the backstory and character development, but DBZ does a good job of filling in the basics you need to know.

I did it and enjoyed every moment of DBZ! The recap episodes fill in the gaps pretty well. Go for it!

Sure thing! I started with DBZ and had no problems keeping up. DBZ's epic battles and Saiyan transformations make it a great starting point, even if you might miss out on some of Goku's early adventures.

If you're a Dragon Ball fan, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Crunchyroll gift card, which you can win and use to stream anything you want essentially for free!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
