Nope, your deck can't have less cards after you sideboard in Magic The Gathering. Your deck must contain the same number of cards before and after sideboarding. This means if you started with a 60-card deck, you gotta end with 60 cards after sideboarding, even if you're itching to tweak.

Nah, keeping the deck count the same is key. Less cards = more consistency, but rules are rules.

Actually, the rule is your deck can't be smaller after sideboarding, but it can be bigger. You can add more cards from your sideboard as long as you maintain or exceed the starting count. So, feel free to expand, just don't shrink your deck!

Wrong info folks, deck size has to stay the same or more, make it big but not small.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
