Can your opponent choose what to attack in Magic The Gathering?
MuggingCreek路7 months agoNope, your opponent can't decide who or what to attack in MTG. They attack you, the player, or a planeswalker you control. Then, you decide how to block their attacks if you have any creatures that can do so. It's all about strategy!

No, and thank goodness for that! Could you imagine the chaos if they could? Everyone would be targeting your best creatures all the time!
Big no-no. Opponents attack players or planeswalkers, not specific creatures. You're the one calling the shots on blocks.
Actually, they do decide... but only on who's getting the smackdown: You or your planeswalkers. Everything else, like blocking, is your call.
