Try pressing the E key when you're close to the rope. Make sure you're facing it directly!

Make sure you鈥檙e close enough to the rope and try using different angles. Sometimes, it can be a bit finicky.

Pressing E while standing right next to the rope usually works for me. But it can be a bit tricky with positioning!
