Had this issue last week! Turns out my Steam Deck's date and time were off, and for some reason, that messed up SMB connections. Make sure your Steam Deck's time is correctly set. Worked like a charm after I fixed it.
If you're struggling to connect to an SMB host on your Steam Deck, make sure you're on the same network and that your host machine's firewall isn't blocking the connection. Sometimes, it's as simple as double-checking your network settings or restarting both your Steam Deck and the host PC.
