What worked for me was making sure the screen mirroring setting on the Roku was set to 'Prompt' rather than 'Always Allow' or 'Never Allow'.
Roku's screen mirroring doesn't always play nice with Apple devices. Try using an Android phone or a Windows PC.
Check if your mobile device supports Miracast. Not all devices do, and that's necessary for Roku's screen mirroring to work.
Try updating the firmware on your Roku. Old firmware can sometimes cause compatibility issues with newer devices.
