Not really. While both Apex Legends and Overwatch are team-based shooters with a diverse roster of characters, that's where the similarities end. Apex mixes the hero shooter concept with battle royale, creating a unique gameplay experience. Overwatch focuses more on team-based objectives without the battle royale element. It's like saying every band with a guitar is copying The Beatles.

Honestly, saying Apex copied Overwatch is like saying all FPS games are the same. Apex brought a new twist to the genre with its BR format and deep lore. So, no copycat business here.

Apples and oranges, my friend. Overwatch and Apex Legends cater to different tastes within the shooter genre. Sure, they share the hero concept, but beyond that, they play totally differently.

Nah, Apex Legends didn't copy Overwatch. Overwatch is all about those 6v6 matches and objective-based gameplay. Apex, on the other hand, throws you into a massive battle royale where it's all about survival. Plus, the whole sliding down hills thing? Genius.
