No, they didn't. They just change up the loot pool every season.

Nope, snipers are still in the game but they might not be available in every season or mode. Epic Games likes to rotate weapons, so sometimes they vault them temporarily.

Not permanently! They take them out sometimes, but snipers always come back eventually.
