Not exactly. While individual Grand Theft Auto (GTA) titles have snagged numerous awards over the years, including critical acclaim and record-breaking sales, the 'Game of the Year' title often varies depending on the awarding body. For example, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) won Game of the Year from several publications and award shows back in 2013 but it's not universal across all platforms and years.

Yes and no. GTA V won a ton of Game of the Year awards back in 2013, but remember 'Game of the Year' can mean a lot of different things depending on who's giving the award. So, while it did win a bunch, it wasn't THE Game of the Year for every award out there.

Nope. GTA's cool and all, but it didn't win the Game of the Year award.

GTA? Game of the Year? Yeah, for my heart maybe, but officially it depends on who you ask and which GTA game.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
