Totally! They needed to give Boruto and his friends some room to shine, so they toned down Naruto and Sasuke a bit.

Yep, Naruto and Sasuke definitely got nerfed in Boruto. They had to pass the torch to the next generation, after all!

They did, but it makes sense. If they were as powerful as in Shippuden, they'd solve problems too easily. It adds balance.
