Nope, the first PS1 controllers were all about those classic d-pads! The DualShock came later with the wobbly sticks.

Actually, yes and no. The initial PS1 controller didn't have analog sticks, but the DualShock introduced them along with some rumble action!

The OG PS1 controller was stick-free. Sony added analog sticks with their Dual Analog Controller and DualShock versions.

The original PlayStation 1 controllers did not have analog sticks. They were standard directional pad controllers. But later, Sony released the Dual Analog Controller and then the DualShock, which introduced analog sticks and vibration feedback.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
