PlayStation came first! Sony launched the original PlayStation in December 1994, while Microsoft entered the scene later with the Xbox in November 2001. Sony definitely had a head start in the console wars!

PlayStation was the OG, hitting the market in '94. Xbox didn't show up to the party until 2001. Game on!
