Nah, the Devil Ape aka Enji Koma didn't die in Tokyo Ghoul. He managed to survive the chaos and continued fighting on.
Enji Koma lives! He remained loyal to the cause and kept battling through till the end. Tokyo Ghoul definitely kept him busy!
