Nope, SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking) is still a thing in Apex Legends. The devs tweak it from time to time, but it's definitely not gone. Keeps matches interesting, or frustrating, depending on who you ask.

SBMM? Nah, it's not gone. Sometimes feels like it though when you get absolutely steamrolled by what feels like pro players. But, yeah, it's meant to be there for balancing.

SBMM is still very much alive and kicking in Apex Legends. It's there to make sure you're matched with players of similar skill, which in theory should make for a better game experience. Sometimes it feels like it works against you, but it's all part of the challenge!

They didn't remove SBMM from Apex Legends, but honestly, sometimes I wish they would. Playing can feel like a rollercoaster ride thanks to it.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
