Almost all PS1 games are compatible with the PS3, but some may have minor issues. Generally, you should be good to go.

Yes, most PS1 games work on a PS3, but there are a few exceptions. Check Sony's compatibility list to be sure!

I've played a ton of PS1 classics on my PS3 without any major problems. Just pop in the disc and enjoy!
