Tried it once; US card was a no-go on my Aussie account. Stick to buying region-specific cards. Lesson learned!

Nope! PSN cards are region-locked, so a US card won't work on an Australian PSN account. Your best bet is to buy an Australian PSN card.

You could switch your PSN account region to the US, but that's a hassle and might mess up your existing subscriptions and content.
