Yes and no. By default, Apex Legends console players match with other console players for a fair playing field. But, if you wanna join forces with a friend on PC, crossplay kicks in and you can totally do that. Just be ready for potentially tougher matches!
Honestly, I think crossplay should be off by default. Makes the game harder for us on console.
Nah, Apex Legends console players can actually party up with PC players too, thanks to crossplay! It's pretty sweet 'cause it lets you team up or go head-to-head with your buddies no matter what platform they're playing on. Just remember, if you're in a squad with a PC player, the matchmaking system will likely put you in a lobby with other PC players, which might crank up the challenge level.
